Interaction with University of Virginia Graduate Students – July 15, 2019

On July 15, 2019, Nepal Leadership Academy organized an interaction program between Nepalese business leaders and graduate students of University of Virginia, McIntire School of Commerce. During the event, Mr. Karmacharya shared his entrepreneurial experiences in Nepal along with various opportunities and challenges.

National Labor & Employment Conference 2076 – June 30, 2019

On June 30, 2019, the Ministry of Labor held National Labor & Employment Conference 2076 in a bid to promote youth employment as well as stop the brain drain and outward migration from the country. The event was graced by Prime Minister KP Oli as the Chief Guest and had many notable speakers. 

At British Embassy with His Excellency Mr. Richard Morris (UK Ambassador) – May 09, 2019

It was a great honor for us to be hosted by His Excellency Mr. Richard Morris – UK Ambassador to Nepal, at the British Embassy on May 09, 2019. The event was held to celebrate the Queen Elizabeth II’s birthday. Various Nepalese startups also pitched their business ideas at the venue. The event was attended by many reputed parties from various walks of life. 

Meeting with Minister of Labour, Mr. Gokarna Bista – Mar 23, 2019

On March 23, 2019, Jaguar MD along with several young entrepreneurs had an opportunity to meet and interact with the Minister of Labour, Employment & Social Security, Mr. Gokarna Bista at Singha Durbar. The meeting was fruitful as both parties discussed several ways to promote youth entrepreneurship and generate higher employment. The minister was positive towards collaborating on various programs. 

2nd International Entrepreneurship Conclave - Jan 19, 2019

Jaguar participated in the 2nd International Entrepreneurship Conclave held in Yak and Yeti Hotel on Jan 19, 2019. The event had several notable guest speakers from Nepal and India with the Indian Ambassador to Nepal as the Chief Guest. The event highlighted the need for promoting entrepreneurship in the country as well as the necessity for better collaboration between the two countries. 

Incubation of Baby Tree – Jan 14, 2019

After several months of preparation, Jaguar launched an e-commerce platform called Baby Tree with a primary focus on young mothers all over Nepal. The idea was to become a one-stop-shop for various kinds of quality baby products all under the same roof. One of our goals was to bring transparency and trust among customers who shop online.

Sharing Stock Market Strategies with Women Entrepreneurs – Nov 06, 2018

As part of Jaguar’s efforts to promote literacy in the stock market, Mr. Niraj Karmacharya conducted a session on stock market strategies among women entrepreneurs. With rising interest in the stock market over the years, many participants are eager to learn how to enter the stock market and create an optimal portfolio. 

MOU Between Jaguar & Nabil Invest - Oct 30, 2018

Jaguar Investments and Nabil Invest signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on financial advisory and private placement services. Jaguar was represented by Mr. Niraj Karmacharya and Mr. Sabir B. Shrestha signed on behalf of Nabil Invest. 

Jaguar’s 6th AGM Concluded Successfully – October 06, 2018

Jaguar Investments successfully concluded its 6th Annual General Meeting which was held on October 06, 2018 at Hotel Mulberry. This was the second AGM held after company officially began its operations. The Managing Director discussed about company’s vision as well as plans and strategies for the coming years. 

Interaction with IME Group Chairman, Mr. Chandra Dhakal – Aug 27, 2018

Representing Jaguar Investments, Mr. Niraj Karmacharya, attended an interaction session with Mr. Chandra Dhakal upon his invitation at Chandragiri Hills. Mr. Dhakal, who is the founder and chairman of IME Group, shared his experiences and also his vision for the future. It was a great opportunity for young entrepreneurs to learn from such esteemed business leader as he discussed about his failures in life as well as various mantras for success. 

Digital Nepal Conference - August 03, 2018

Jaguar MD, Mr. Niraj Karmacharya, attended Digital Nepal Conference – one of the first grand scale events to promote a digital economy. The conference was graced by several esteemed business leaders from Nepal and abroad. We also had an opportunity to meet with Head of Google Cloud platform – Mr. Srinivasa Gandhi Sampath.

Jaguar MD Elected Executive Member of NYEF Ktm Chapter - June 21, 2018

Mr. Niraj Karmacharya, MD of Jaguar Investment, who represents the company at NYEF, was recently elected as an executive committee member for Kathmandu Chapter. He has the role of making strategic decisions aligning with the goals for the chapter in the upcoming year.Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs’ Forum (NYEF) is an apex body of young entrepreneurs in Nepal. It is a membership based non-profit organization, established with a vision of empowering young entrepreneurs in Nepal. Some of the key initiatives of NYEF are:Entrepreneurship Boot camp.Made in NepalLEADER projectYoung Entrepreneurship Summit.After a successful start at Kathmandu, it now has chapters in Biratnagar, Pokhara, Chitwan, Dhangadi, Butwal and Birgunj with more chapters in the pipeline.

Nepali Paisa & Source Code at 1st Capital Market Expo - May 10, 2018

On the occasion of its 25th Anniversary, SEBON organized the first edition Capital Expo market on 9th and 10th of May with the primary objective to disseminate the information regarding trading in primary and secondary market. The two day event was organized at held at Bhrikuti Mandap with over 25,000 attendees visiting the expo which had over 100 different stalls from Investment banks, merchant banks, SEBON, NEPSE, ICAN, news providers and other stock market participants.Nepali paisa and Source code both had their stalls set up in the expo where Nepali Paisa’s stall was able attract one of the highest footfalls.
